Commonwealth - Syzygy

 

-Saison made with malted white wheat, oats, spelt, and Pilsner malts generously hopped with Rakau and Amarillo. Extended cold aging and a light touch of Brettanomyces combined to form a perfectly crushable, dry, and lightly spiced lemony meringue foam beauty.

LIC - Humming Dragons

 

-DDH with Citra, Simcoe, and El Dorado. Brewed with Pilsner Malt and flaked oats.

-ABV: 7.0%

Levante - Trifecta Complex

 

-Triple IPA with lactose.

-Citra, Cascade, and Amarillo triangulate around a malt base so sticky your fly trap will be jealous. Not to mention the added hit of ridiculously limonenuous terpenes to honor the strain referenced in the first line of this description. Ready to ride the terpene express?

-ABV: 10.0%

-IBU: 47

 

 

Burley Oak - Rude Boy

 

-Crafted with seven malts, this sessionable Barleywine is filled with complexity; expect hints of nuts, burnt sugar, raisin and a slight touch of smoke.

-ABV: 8.1%

-IBU: 32

Black Flag - Final Heaven

 

-Our first hazy release for 2020. Hopped with Wakatu and Grungeist. Wakatu provides moderately intense, fresh lime zest and citrus oils with a definite Mittelfrüh-style sweetness: clover, hay, honey, and blossoms. Grungeist offers a unique combination of peach and passion fruit, equally balanced with a hint of lemon zest and floral essence.

-ABV: 6.7%

-IBU: 40

Left Hand - Fade To Black

 

-A Foreign Export Stout that pours black, with licorice, espresso bean, molasses, and black cardamom notes that give way to a feeling of self loathing, burnt opportunities and smoked relationships.

-ABV: 8.5%

 

 

Aslin - Neutrino

 

-Neutrino is an India Pale Ale Double Dry Hopped with Galaxy. This beer has YUGE notes of pineapple, peach, mango, & pine.

-ABV: 6.2%

RAR - Holding Hands and Talking

 

-Imperial Stout with espresso beans, cinnamon and lactose.

-Collaboration with Mortalis Brewing Co.

-ABV: 8.5%

Burley Oak - Coffee N' Cream

 

-A simple pale ale brewed with our own local barley from Snow Hill and cold brewed coffee produced on site at Burley Oak. This Ale pours an attractive golden hue and has a pleasant residual sweetness

-ABV: 5.1%

-IBU: 18 

 

The only constant in the ever changing beer industry is that customers are always looking for new and exciting craft beers.  Nick’s, with help from companies near and afar, has installed a state of the art Growler Filling Station based on the same operating principles as bottling lines. We use a blended gas counter pressure system. This state of the art technique forces beer to fill the growler from the bottom up reducing loss due to foam, while keeping the beer as fresh as possible.

 

While Nick’s carries a wide array of craft beer in bottles and cans, our Growler Filling Station has opened the doors to  endless possibilities. Our Growler Filling Station taps are constantly changing with beers that are extremely rare or even limited to draft only.
